Quartzite is a metamorphic sandstone and it’s origin is similar to other sedimentary stone types. The hardness of this stone is beyond a typical sandstone and it has great texture and traction qualities. Typically quartzite is found in irregular flagging with only a range of thickness available. Certain types of our offered products are available in calibrated quartzite, which allows for savings in time and money during installation. We offer cut to size patterns in some of our products as well as irregular natural pieces. Colors of quartzite range from white, metallic silvers/grey, earthy brown/tan and dramatic golds and yellows.
