Argentina porphyry  is quarried from large blocks which are sawed and extracted,  (like blocks of marbles and granites); not in layers or fractured strata as is commonly the case in Italian, Turkish, Chinese and Mexican quarries.

The larger grain structure of Argentina origin material in noted by the light “rice grain” flecks of grey and white, this is not present in Italian or Mexican porphyry.

Large slabs, blocks and specialty architectural profiled products are available in Argentina porphyry and considered top quality in stone morphology.
